In our 2 part program, from deciding to own, getting your money in order, saving the deposit, getting a home loan, house-hunting, dealing with agents, getting inspections, working with a conveyancer, collecting the keys at settlement, then moving in and enjoying the wealth-building results of Home.
Buying real estate
… just isn’t like buying anything else. It costs more of course, but there are other aspects too. There’s a sense of security and permanence to home ownership. You’re beginning to ‘put down roots’ in the community. No more uncertainty about where or when you may be asked to move, no more quarterly inspections, no more rent increases. Monthly payments, which may even be lower than rent, become a real investment toward your future.
About the Program
The Home Program workshop is education and information. It’s free and is offered in two parts:
• Part One - A mid-week evening from 7pm - 9pm
• Part Two - scheduled up to 4 times a year.
It is presented entirely by volunteer professionals who see & understand the need to educate and inform people aspiring to buy their first home.
